Scotsbluebell, Many thanks - can you please contact me via the www.raretunes.org/contact page. We have other recordings of your father and would like to share information. He was, undoubtably and exceptional player.

Stuart

Subject: Sydney Chalmers my Father
Was looking for something about my late father and came across this fantastic music. S. Chalmers is my father, and for many years was fiddle player with Jimmy Shand's Band. In my opiion he is the greatest Scots fiddler EVER, and I know many share that opinion with me. Thank you to Ian Grant, I don't know you but again a huge thank you for posting this great piece of music onto the archive.
